The theme is a repetition of some scenes from Toli Prema, especially the climax with just minor changes. The subject revolves around childhood friends becoming lovers - how the disparity in academics is responsible for the girl treating her childhood friend as just a friend. Ravi (Nitin) and Geeta (Nikita) are childhood friends whose families are closely related. Geeta does engineering, while Ravi fares badly in studies. . Ravi wants to marry her but she refuses and brushes him off saying he cannot get a job and she does not want him to live on her money. A highly disappointed Ravi leaves for Dubai to achieve something. He is also concerned about the humiliation he would suffer following Geeta's rejection to marry him as everybody is aware of their imminent marriage. Therefore, he wants to be away from this atmosphere. By the time Geeta learns about his departure, Ravi is already at airport. That is when she starts thinking about how much she would miss him and how important he is to her.
